Bug Description

The installer udeb for multipath-tools needs the dm-multipath driver to be present in the installer, and as a result this udeb depends on a 'multipath-modules' virtual package in Debian. In Ubuntu, this driver is built into the kernel, but the kernel-image-$version-$flavor-di udebs don't declare a Provides: multipath-modules; as a result, multipath-tools has to carry a delta in Ubuntu.

Please have the kernel-image udebs declare Provides: multipath-modules.
