the "modem" is NOT supported by NetworkManager, also as of today arnet only ships this modem to the client...
Maybe this should be provided anyways in case NM gets fixed some day

as far as the database is concerned someone should provide a patch as described here: http://live.gnome.org/NetworkManager/MobileBroadband/ServiceProviders

I could provide this patch, but it may not be useful, as i said before the modem is not supported in Network Manager yet, there is hope now than Modem Manager was released...yet there is no "driver"....
maybe this bug should be suspended and dependent on 277613 ?

I am also a user of this service (Arnet Go) and I have the same modem, the only way we can connect it with wvdial. NM works fine but I could not make it work.
Hopefully be resolved soon.

Since the task against the Ubuntu package is now marked as Fix Released, I'll also mark this task as Fix Released.

If you are still having issues with the configs for the Arnet network, please don't hesitate to file a new bug against the mobile-broadband-provider-info package in Ubuntu; you can do this easily with the following command:

ubuntu-bug mobile-broadband-provider-info

Thanks!
