Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdm-kde4
I am unable at present to run X in Kubuntu Hardy Alpha.
No matter how I try to reconfigure or reinstall (e.g. apt-get install --reinstall, sudo dpkg-reconfigure) either kdm or kdm-kde4 to be the default, both fail to start with an error message that it is not the default display manager.
The current xserver-xorg in Kubuntu Hardy Alpha is also broken, which means that no X session is possible without manual editing (which I am not scared of, but is nonetheless a bug, and I am filing it separately)
