Bug Description

1. Install indicator-sync
2. Change your icon theme to something other than ubuntu-mono-dark or ubuntu-mono-light. You can use gnome-tweak-tool for this to work around bug 1058881
3. The icon for the sync menu disappears. You can still open the menu if you select another "indicator" status menu and use the keyboard to navigate left or right.

This affects Adwaita, HighContrast, LowContrast, and pretty much every theme that isn't Ambiance or Radiance.

I believe this can be fixed by indicator-sync adding appropriate icons to the hicolor theme. Or see also bug 1056595.
