Bug Description
Cyphermox mentioned in IRC that the output of the unit tests made it look like they might be passing by accident because several g_warnings are issued during the test.
A nice-to-have item would be to mute the warnings that we know we're going to generate (for example, warnings generated by the tests feeding intentionally bad data to i-sync to test for handling bad data).
