  For Ubuntu images, the initrd.img is being compressed using xz instead
  of gzip. When I change the compression to using gzip, I see about a 900
  millisecond speedup in unpacking the initramfs.

Cleaned up non-colinear comments and routines

I have now reworked the diagonalization routines for the
non-colinear methods.
It was apparent to me that the correct formulation was diag2k because

  DM(a,b) = <psi_a|psi_b>, a and b orbital and spin indices

which means that the conjugate has to be taken on the LHS eigenstate.
This was opposite in diag2g, however since the imaginary part is only used
in one of the assignments it was not seen.

In effect, the previous codes had no bugs, but they were not consistent
with the formulation.
I have also clarified this in all comments in both routines.

I have checked tests fe_clust_noncollinear and fe_noncol_kp.

Add zfs module and dependencies to generated initramfs.

In order for curtin to use zfs, it has to have access to the modules.
Add 'zfs' and its dependencies to the initramfs.

Note that the user-space tools (zfsutils-linux) are not currently
a dependency of ubuntu-server and are thus not in the squashfs images.
That means that for curtin to use zfs it has to install the package.
The package handles loading zfs module.

mount-image-callback: run blockdev and udevadm settle on nbd devices.

When we connect nbd devices, ensure that the kernel re-reads the partition
table information. This ensures that the partition devices (nbd0p1, nbd0p2)
are correct when used later.

Also required then is a udevadm settle.

On xenial, the blockdev is needed, on newer releases some udev magic or
systemd handles it.

Possible bugfix for paralleloverk with k-grid in SCF, and Gamma in PDOS

This is strictly not required in 4.0, but in the later versions this
is necessary.
This commit fixes the inconsistency of updating the "global" parallel-overk.

LP#1691861 - make Item Status edit items in batch in volcopy

This makes the Item Status grid action of "Edit Items" work
like the Copy Buckets grid "Edit Selected Items", in that the
copies open in the volcopy editor in batch, with no record summary.

Support seeding of snaps

We run germinate during configure, and read from each resulting <seed>.snaps
file (expanded from STRUCTURE) to find out which snaps to seed. This is written
to config/seeded-snaps, which is read during build to download each one.
