Ensure that the current date is today before starting the tests.

Revert the last revision as it:
 - unnecessarily expanded the code,
 - introduced a regression (doesn’t work for abs(delta) > 24),
 - didn’t fix the autopilot failures observed on devices (see e.g. http://reports.qa.ubuntu.com/smokeng/saucy/image/4256/calendar-app-autopilot/).
