Title: package firefox 3.6.6+nobinonly
I'm not really sure how this is possible. The firefox package ships the /usr/bin/firefox symlink, this hasn't changed in ages and you seem to be the only person with this problem.
Could you please post the output of "ls -l /usr/bin/firefox" and "dpkg -L firefox", and also attach your /var/lib/ dpkg/diversions .
Thanks
