Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager-openvpn

I attempted to create an openvpn connection using nm-applet by importing the arivpn.conf file attached. I am able to start OpenVPN just fine using sudo openvpn --config arivpn.conf, so I'm reasonably confident that the setup is correct.

I originally had the problem described in #360818, but after I added the at_console policy to /etc/dbus-1/system.d/nm-openvpn-service.conf, I was able to get past the no secrets error.

Now however, I get the following error.

"The VPN Connection 'arivpn' failed because the VPN service stopped unexpectedly"

Here are some interesting lines from my nm-applet terminal output:

** (nm-applet:9972): DEBUG: applet_common_device_state_changed
** (nm-applet:9972): WARNING **: _nm_object_get_property: Error getting 'Connection' for /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/ActiveConnection/7: Method "Get" with signature "ss" on interface "org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties" doesn't exist
