Bug Description

Please provide squashfs-modules udeb. The kernel generated for d-i does not have the squashfs kernel module nor is it built in so I can't mount a squashfs. Debian has the squashfs-modules package and there are packages in Ubuntu which have dependencies on it. This is also necessary for the OEM Services team's installer to function properly.

Please could this be a separate udeb rather than being put in fs-core-modules? It'll affect d-i's memory use otherwise.

Colin - I updated Karmic and Lucid to produce a squashfs-modules udeb.

Debian no longer has a squashfs-modules package actually now that the squashfs module is included in the kernel.

It turns out I'm mistaken. The squashfs-modules package has returned in Debian but as a binary package only as its built out of l-k-<arch>-di-2.6 instead of the squashfs-modules source package. [1]

Accepted linux into karmic-proposed, the package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!

I will set this to verification done as the squashfs module is now in the fs-core udeb (in Karmic). For Lucid it is in its own udeb package.
