[snap] on eoan, when both the deb and the snap are installed, there are two entries for chromium in the settings app for the default web browser

« When going to Details | Default Applications | Web in the Settings Application I expect to see a single entry for each web browser that I have installed but “Chromium Web Browser” appears twice.

Selecting either entry appears to correctly set Chromium as the default browser […].

Does anyone else see two entries for Chromium? »

Removing the MimeType entry from chromium-browser.desktop should be sufficient to remove the corresponding entry in the list of applications able to handle web links.

This won't happen until after the default has been changed from chromium-browser.desktop to chromium_chromium.desktop though, which will happen the first time the /usr/bin/chromium-browser wrapper script is executed.

Hopefully this is acceptable.

This bug was fixed in the package chromium-browser - 76.0.3809.87-0ubuntu1~snap1
