Bug Description

Binary package hint: libfile-basedir-perl

A new upstream version is available from CPAN: http://search.cpan.org/~pardus/File-BaseDir-0.03/

This blocks LP#165285; the new version of zim depends on File::BaseDir >= 0.03

Hi,

This interdiff is not sufficient to update to the new buildsystem:
/usr/bin/make -C . OPTIMIZE="-g -Wall -O2" install
PREFIX=/home/bd/src/packages/libfile-basedir-perl/test/libfile-basedir-perl-0.03/debian/libfile-basedir-perl/usr
make[1]: Entering directory
`/home/bd/src/packages/libfile-basedir-perl/test/libfile-basedir-perl-0.03'
/usr/bin/perl Build --makefile_env_macros 1 install
Sorry, PREFIX is not supported. See the Module::Build
documentation for 'destdir' or 'install_base' instead.
make[1]: *** [install] Error 9
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/home/bd/src/packages/libfile-basedir-perl/test/libfile-basedir-perl-0.03'

I've rolled my own package at
http://ppa.launchpad.net/bdonlan/ubuntu/pool/main/libf/libfile-basedir-perl/libfile-basedir-perl_0.03-0ubuntu1~bdppa3.dsc

I'm currently working on getting it into debian... but from the looks of
it the original maintainer may be MIA. Feel free to upload this directly
into ubuntu if you prefer.

Can you patch an interdiff of your interdiff with my interdiff? My interdiff builds fine for me on Ubuntu.

libmodule-build-perl needs to be >= 0.28 or the build will fail.
It should be in debian/control...

Tested with 0.26:

/usr/bin/make -C . OPTIMIZE="-g -Wall -O2" install PREFIX=/build/buildd/libfile-basedir-perl-0.03/debian/libfile-basedir-perl/usr
make[1]: Entering directory `/build/buildd/libfile-basedir-perl-0.03'
/usr/bin/perl Build --makefile_env_macros 1 install
