Thanks a lot for fixing this. Do you think you can forward the change to Debian instead? This way we won't introduce a delta between Ubuntu and Debian and more people benefit from the change?

If you have a look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Debian/Bugs#Using_submittodebian_to_forward_patches_to_Debian you can see how you can easily make use of the 'submittodebian' tool to do this.
