Eh, it's difficult to say. On one hand, we had accurate guns that could kill from hundreds of meters, even a kilometer away. We had poison gas, machine gun nests, etc. On the other hand, Kuvira had those mechas, which would prove to be a real pain in the ass most likely for any WWI army. Maybe a high caliber anti tank rifle of the day could have taken them out, though.
Kuvira's mech would actually also be an issue to a WWI army at least. I personally think that through sheer numbers of artillery strikes that mech would have gone down eventually, but a WWI setting wouldn't really be able to bomb it from the air very efficiently, at least to my knowledge.
But yeah, anything past WWI and kuvira's army gets raped.
