FYI - I'm discussing with Debian to drop the tests completely atm as upstream has sort of given up to run them this way. But for now the merge retains the status quo which is to "somewhat execute them" which works as good/bad as before, but not (never had) on ppc64el.
In fact there was one lucky shot way back in the past which makes this a regression it never worked before/after afaik.
Bumping the version here would help to get things to migrate, and if we later really drop the whole test we can remove it when we sync that package.
