Code review comment for lp:~nikwen/account-polld/authenticate-again-fix

Ok, I continued work on it and it's almost ready. For now I rewrote all three merge proposals but the code is still only in my testing branch. I'll split it up as soon as it's ready.
There's just one error left which I need to sort out but I'll have to wait until the Gmail tokens expire again to debug it. Is there any way to force refreshing the tokens?
