The patch adds a couple of copy-pasted sentences mentioning partitions to the bottom of the "Partial Backups" page, i.e. to the "Restoring Partial Backups" sections. It doesn't look descriptive enough to me, it was just an answer to a question from user rather than a complete description.

I would expect it to be a separate section, e.g. "Backing Up and Restoring Individual Partitions" explaining all differences from regular tables during backup, prepare and restore. You can find details and examples in my XB tutorial slides.
