Small comment about the API versioning that you'll need for this to work at all, and it's simple enough that you may as well go ahead and do it here. Otherwise, I think this MP is a good start, but already getting big. I'm very much in favor of landing it asap even if there are still TODO items documented. Those can then be easily handled by anyone, and we don't end up with a huge mp to sort though and block other progress until it's perfect. Just make sure they are referenced in comments, and in tasks.
