Confirmed. Crash is gone after setting binlog_format = ROW. Our configuration was made with the Percona Configuration Wizard, which didn't mention binlog_format. The rest is all default. Maybe it's an idea to put binlog_format=ROW in the wizard, too. At least as long as this issue isn't fixed.

Anyway, thanks a bunch for helping us out. Our cluster seems stable now, so we can continue testing!
