Bug Description

xserver-xorg-video-vmware 11.99.901-0ubuntu1 was built with XA, which enabled virtualized passthrough of 3D acceleration. In version 12.0.1-1 of the package, XA was not enabled, which resulted in 3D acceleration being disabled. As a result I could no longer run the regular (Compiz) version of Unity.

This bug was fixed in the package xserver-xorg-video-vmware - 1:12.0.1-1ubuntu1

---------------
xserver-xorg-video-vmware (1:12.0.1-1ubuntu1) precise; urgency=low

  * Add libxatracker-dev build dep, it was accidentally dropped by
    syncing the newer version without it, breaking 3D accelerated
    passthrough support in vmware. (LP: #962599)
  * Drop 100-vmwgfx-avoid-including-a-library-header.patch, included
    in the update.
