Bug Description

When using Xubuntus greybird theme, most entries in the xfce workspace menu (middle click on the desktop) are barely readable.

Xubuntu 11.10
murrine-themes 0.98.2ubuntu3 or greybird-themes 0.3+git20120122-0shimmer1

I can confirm this.

Items on the same workspace are easily readable, but if you change to say, workspace 2, the items from workspace 1 are very hard to read.

Screenshot showing the problem is attached.

This is a well-known problem. I have already investigated this upstream, because it seems that the "insensitive" color in this menu is hardcoded.
Since there is currently no maintainer/developer working on xfdesktop, chances that this will get a fix soon are not extremely high.

So far it was impossible to find a workaround that only themes this specific menu and I am not willing to change the color of all menus because of a bug in xfdesktop. I will probably try to investigate again during FOSDEM though (but don't expect too much).

This will be fixed as soon as the bright-menus branch of Greybird is merged to master (will happen in the next days).
