Bug Description

Binary package hint: spe

I opened SPE and the 5 python files I used last time were loaded. Then I was browsing the Internet with Firefox (in Feisty) and SPE crashed after a while (but I hadn't touched SPE).

Here is additional code for debugging:

Reopening the report; apparently it is *not* fixed in the Ubuntu package; if you do want track upstream spe bug reports in launchpad you can do that as well, but please don't use the distributiin part of malone for that. A bug should be closed only if the fixed package is available in the distribution.

Based on the recent bug status discussing on devel-discuss, I think this can count as Fix Committed since it's committed upstream. Particularly since Stani is working with the Debian Python Applications Packaging Team to get a fixed version into Debian and then into Hardy.

This bug was fixed in the package spe - 0.8.4c-1~hardy1

---------------
spe (0.8.4c-1~hardy1) hardy; urgency=low

  * Upload to hardy from Debian python-apps svn.
    - Fixes LP: #88316, LP: #104405.
