Bug Description

Try to install Windows guest additions
Get dialog saying ISO isn't installed, would you like to download it?
Say yes.
Get error:

Failed to download the VirtualBox Guest Additions CD image from http://dlc.sun.com.edgesuite.net/virtualbox/4.1.2_Ubuntu/VBoxGuestAdditions_4.1.2_Ubuntu.iso.
Error downloading http://dlc.sun.com.edgesuite.net/virtualbox/4.1.2_Ubuntu/VBoxGuestAdditions_4.1.2_Ubuntu.iso - server replied: Not Found

This worked for me in Natty

Try installing virtualbox-guest-additions-iso from Software Center or Synaptic Package Manager. Then try again to install quest additions, and it should not ask you to download it, but open the Install Wizard.

My workaround was to download the iso manually from http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.1.2/VBoxGuestAdditions_4.1.2.iso and mount it

which was harder to find than I would suspect
