Bug Description

Jenkins has a feature that integrates account security with PAM through libpam4j.

This requires that the jenkins user is added to the shadow group to allow access to /etc/shadow.

However, even when this change is made, authentication does not work.

This appears to be because the upstart configuration uses daemon which specifies both user and group - which restricts the groups associated with the process to just jenkins.

Removing the group element appears to resolve this issue.
