Bug Description

test case

1. start a guest session
2. start empathy and add a gtalk account
3. chat with a friend from your friends list -- notice something similar to the image in comment #1
4. now go to Edit -> Preferences
5. now notice the chat window.

the adium theme is applied only when you first start empathy's preferences.

The problem is reliably reproduce able on a new install of Oneiric, when you first open empathy preferences the problem goes away

The issue is probably not an upstream one bcoz no one there could confirm it or ever saw it. Its prolly something in Ubuntu.
