Bug Description

Several of the hotkeys on this model are not generating input events. This is likely a result of missing support in the toshiba_acpi module.

@Seth, any good news from upstream to merge the new driver?

PS: is the package ppa:sforshee/toshiba-acpi-dkm yours to fix this issue? Could we merge this to Ubuntu first if it's slow to get merged to mainline kernel. :)

I pinged Matthew Garrett about it last week, but as of yet no response
from him (but he's been travelling for Kernel Summit, so that's to be
expected).

It's worth noting that those patches don't include the hotkey fixes.
They're a prerequisite, but there's also an ACPI EC patch I have that
will need to get merged as well. I don't want to submit that until I'm
sure the toshiba_acpi changes are going in though.

That's my PPA, but it's for providing test builds to some volunteers who
are doing regression testing on some experimental changes beyond the
patches that have been submitted upstream so far. I don't suggest it for
use by anyone looking for something at all stable :)
