Please merge etckeeper 0.55 (main) from debian unstable (main)

This bug was fixed in the package etckeeper - 0.55ubuntu1

  * Merge from debian unstable. (LP: #800034) Remaining changes:
    - etckeeper.conf, debian/control: default to bzr.
    - etckeeper.spec: Change version to match Ubuntu version
    - commit.d/50vcs-commit: Avoid failure in initial commit if etckeeper
      is not installed from a tty (like early during installation)

i used etckeeper since ubuntu 8.04, but version for natty (from repository) does not work, so i compiled it myself, but first had to remove the version 0.54, since the commit for the changed /etc/etckeeper/etckeeper.conf could not be completed.
