Bug Description
Binary package hint: synapse
There is a new upstream release, adding new features since 0.2.4.2 :
- New Do-ish interface
- New ssh plugin
- Click and Drag & Drop available
Of course, there are also bug fixes, and some speed improvements.
Complete diff is attached.
You can see a detailled annoucement here : http://
Synapse now use only Vala 0.12 (which was already supported and tested in the upstream PPA)
Also, tarball only ship vala files which is easier for maintenance (only need to patch the vala files, not vala + C files in 0.2.4.2).
I'll also recommends to switch to 0.2.6 because upstream now focus on this serie, instead of the 0.2.4 serie.
Upstream is active, and new versions are tested with daily PPA, so it should not be too risky to update to 0.2.6.
Packaging is ready, and I'm testing it without any problem on my natty system.
Build ok on my natty pbuilder.
Ack. Approved. Please go ahead.
