I'd personally go for the 10pt font in the terminal as well. If it can be read anywhere else, why should it suddenly be unreadable in the terminal?

also: consistency yay.

I have expressed my opinion on this subject in the past. As long as we are using droid fonts, which are smaller by design than other fonts, 10 point fonts are only readable by those with good eyesight. Insisting they are readable by all users doesn't change the size visibility.

The default font for UI is Droid Sans 10, and the proposed font for terminal is Droid Sans Mono 10. As Droid Sans Mono 10 has *better* readability (see attachment), I can't see no reason why we couldn't use it as default for the terminal.

I also find default font bigger than desirable.

    - debian/{gconf-defaults,post*,pre*}: renamed to
      debian/xubuntu-default-settings.*.
    - debian/*.install: added, now that we have several binary packages.
    - casper/48xubuntu_maybe_ubiquity: added, stolen from
      mythbuntu-live-autostart.

  * etc/xdg/xdg-xubuntu/Terminal/terminalrc: reduce the default font size
    for xfce4-terminal. lp: #752886
  * etc/skel/.xscreensaver: added, set blank mode by default. lp: #799268
  * Call dh_installgsettings instead of manually shipping an override file.
