Bug Description

Recent additions to the app indicator API allow the setting of icon/accessible descriptions for indicators. It would be useful is the gnome-control-center indicators were extended with icon/accessible descriptions.

Luke, I have been looking at this, and g-c-c uses libappindicator, which doesn't have anything related to the accessible_description thing you added to libindicator, so can you please let me know if I'm wrong?

Originally my work did include accessible_desc API functions, however Ted removed those, and added a set of icon update functions that encorporated the description into the call. The network-manager applet patch uses them. For specifics, you are wanting to look at app_indicator_set_icon_full and related functino calls.
