Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-media

When mumble or skype are already started, using the gnome-volume-control app to change the default input device doesn't not work. Looking at it closer, it seems that pulseaudio does indeed get the default device change, but streams are not being updated when they should be (e.g. mumble is set to use the default pulseaudio source).

In the upstream bug, I've attached a possible patch that seems to properly switch the mumble stream to the newly selected input source.
