Bug Description

Binary package hint: xfdesktop4

due to recent backports from gtk3 to allow/show a resize handle/grip in every window, xfdesktop now has one too.
i think i needn't explain how unnecessary that is (and how bad it looks).

I can confirm that, xfdesktop4 shows a black handle at the bottom left corner.

Could you provide me with an alternative to "including an ubuntu-specific patch to many xfce programs because of this gtk+3.0 ubuntu-specific 'backport'"? Thanks!

Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.

This is visible full time in the bottom right corner of the desktop in Natty.
