Bug Description

Please upload utouch-grail 1.0.18 to Ubuntu. The changes are binary compatible with 1.0.18 and includes an optional stable API. Old programs will run and compile fine against this new package.

The new package can be found at https://code.launchpad.net/~utouch-team/utouch-grail/packaging, and the source package at https://code.launchpad.net/~utouch-team/utouch-grail/trunk.

This looks good to me.

It drops a lot of symbols without an SONAME bump, but those symbols have not been exposed in any public headers.

which package provides these two dependencies?

The new utouch-evemu and utouch-frame packages, respectively. There are new-package bugs present for those as well, but because they are new, they are against the packages themselves:

Good work. I just added "(LP: #702637)" to debian/changelog to get the bug automatically closed on upload.

Both utouch-frame and utouch-evemu need a MIR to move them to main (where utouch-grail is). Until then utouch-grail will stay in DEPWAIT on them.

Marking this bug as fixed, as both utouch-evemu and utouch-frame have been promoted to main, and utouch-grail built against them about 3 days ago.
