ls -l /usr/share/gconf/schemas/gwget.schemas
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10214 2010-08-21 17:28 /usr/share/gconf/schemas/gwget.schemas

sudo gconf-schemas --register gwget.schemas
You must have at least one <locale> entry in a <schema>
