Bug Description
Binary package hint: inkscape
I am testing Ubuntu 10.10 beta 64-bit version in a LiveCD session.
I installed Inkscape, TexLive and various fonts. However I can not see cm fonts in the Inkscape Text and Font tool.
There is the same version (0.47) of Inkscape on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and there ARE the cm fonts there. They include cmex10, cmmi10, cmr10, cmsy10. They all are missing on the Ubuntu 10.10.
I checked in synaptic
(Computer Modern fonts are the fonts most standardly used in LaTeX systems and many people have good reasons to use them. Even on Ubuntu 10.04 their accented forms specific for latin1 and latin2 sets are not available to Inkscape but this will be for another bug report.)

Martin, thanks for reporting this bug. I can't reproduce it on Maverick with Inkscape 0.47.0-2ubuntu3. The cm fonts all appear correctly in the font list.
Do you know which package the fonts came from? I'm using ttx-lyx. Please could you check that you have that package installed?
