Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

Bleachbit available from the website ( http://bleachbit.sourceforge.net/download/linux ) includes both 'Bleachbit' and 'Bleachbit as Administrator'. The version of Bleachbit available from the software-center for Ubuntu 10.10 only downloads 'Bleachbit', not 'Bleachbit as Administrator'.
I believe that including 'Bleachbit as Administrator' only involves adding a slightly different launch command.

bleachbit provides two launchers from Applications menu, one of them launches it as root. There is no "bleachbit as administrator" package.

Interesting. In xfce an application starter for "bleachbit as root" will only be installed if the 'menu' package is installed. I suspect one of the 'menu' triggers is responsible. Since the packages provided by upstream contain a dependency on 'menu', both starters are available. The package currently in ubuntu (and debian) does not depend/recommend menu. Something seems to be wrong.

upstream the 'menu' provides the su-to-root command which is necessary for running as administrator. it is like gksudo
