When installing ubuntu, ubiquity claims that I am connected to the internet via ethernet in the best results section, when I am actually connected via wireless.

Thank you for reporting this bug. Ubiquity does not say that you are connected to the internet through an ethernet cable, but it says that you should take care to be connected to the internet via a cable while installing for the best results. this restriction although should be avoided in my opinion, it should only say that you should be connected to the internet ... after all, the connection type does not matter.
