Bug Description

Binary package hint: iscsitarget

On upgrading, I'm seeing the following message:

Jul 16 00:26:55 server1 ietd: initiators.deny is depreciated and will be obsoleted in the next release, please see README.initiators for more information
Jul 16 00:26:55 server1 ietd: /etc/ietd.conf's location is depreciated and will be moved in the next release to /etc/iet/ietd.conf

Except for the fact README.initiators isn't installed anywhere.

Note that this might be best fixed in the debian package, and as per bug 604087 we could do with a newer version of that anyway.

(reminder to self) cjwatson notes we should work against lp:ubuntu/iscsitarget in bzr, and
be aware of LP: #604087 as to why it can't be updated yet.

I've gone ahead and fixed this since it was trivial, and the kernel is now in shape to allow an upload of iscsitarget.

iscsitarget (1.4.20.2-1ubuntu1) maverick; urgency=low

  * Resynchronise with Debian (update to 1.4.20.2 in conjunction with recent
    kernel changes fixes LP: #604087). Remaining changes:
    - If module unloading fails after stopping ietd, report it but still
      exit zero since this doesn't justify causing package operations to
      fail.
  * Install README.initiators and README.mcs (LP: #606068).

iscsitarget (1.4.20.2-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New Upstream Bug Fix Release
  * Fix incorrect path installation. Correct path is /etc/iet/
  * Update Standards Version to 3.9.1 (No changes required)
  * Add DKMS support for iscsitarget kernel module building
  * Add iscsitarget-dkms to Suggests
  * Change PID_FILE to ietd.pid. This was causing the ietd daemon to not
    be killed. Not very sure, perhaps upstream must have changed to ietd.pid
    from iscsi_trgt.pid (Closes: #589738)
