after upgrading lucid install mysql server no longer starts, /var/log/daemon.log says

Jan 19 15:48:32 hemma mysqld[9446]: /var/lib/dpkg/info/mysql-server-5.1.postinst: line 233: /usr/sbin/mysqld: No such file or directory

/usr/sbin/mysqld is no longer part of mysql-server-5.1.

This bug was fixed in the package mysql-dfsg-5.1 - 5.1.41-3ubuntu2

i installed mysql-server-core-5.1 and now mysql server starts again
