Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-firmware-nonfree

Just a heads up that the firmware for the AverTV A180 (and about 5 other cards by different names that use the same chipset) needs to be included. The file name is dvb-fe-nxt2004.fw, and instructions to get it are here: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/385020

I've uploaded a test package to my ppa. Please install and test it:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:chasedouglas/linux-firmware-nonfree
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get upgrade linux-firmware-nonfree

My apologies, I no longer have the capability to test for this bug. However, assuming the above file is included with the rest of the firmware, there isn't much to test for - it's either there and works or it isn't.
