Bug Description
Binary package hint: ia32-libs
Due to recent changes in mesa in Ubuntu Lucid (i.e. the new alternatives system), libGL.so* should be installed in /usr/lib32/mesa instead of /usr/lib32.
This will allow the 32 bit libraries from mesa to coexist with the ones provided by the different nvidia drivers and the fglrx driver.

I am just very curious; there has been lots of changes to mesa, nvidia drivers, xorg, and so forth lately (but no changes to ia32-libs, though), so I'm wondering if _even while this bug is still unresolved_ (along with bug 506437 and bug 248392), has this issue perhaps been fixed already by these other updates?
If so then I can finally start updating again with the nvidia driver packages and such that actually need testing (nvidia-current, etc), instead of holding back all updates.
If not, I will just have to wait a bit more :)
