Bug Description

Binary package hint: lilo-installer

The lilo-installer/skip debconf option is documented for Hardy (https://help.ubuntu.com/8.04/installation-guide/i386/preseed-contents.html#preseed-bootloader). However, due to a missing line in debian/isinstallable, the option doesn't do anything.

Given that the patch is a one-line change, I think it would be good to get this into Hardy.

Here's a fairly straightforward patch that should fix the bug. I'm running a build in my PPA now (https://launchpad.net/~broder/+archive/ubuntu-tests), and will do some testing to verify that it works once that's done.

I've tested the package in my PPA and confirmed that it works both if lilo-installer/skip=true is set in the preseed file, and that it still works if that option is not set and you just select LILO from the ubuntu-installer menu.

Accepted into hardy-proposed, the package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!

I ran two different installs, both with apt-setup/proposed=true.

 - I tested my preseed file for an unattended install, setting lilo-installer/skip=true. The LILO stage was skipped

 - I ran a non-unattended install, choosing to install LILO from the ubuntu-installer menu. I was able to boot the machine after the install completed.
