Binary package hint: avarice

avarice 2.9-1.1ubuntu1 FTBFS with gcc 4.4 due to an invalid conversion:

jtag2usb.cc: In function 'usb_dev_handle* opendev(const char*, emulator, int&)':
jtag2usb.cc:98: error: invalid conversion from 'const char*' to 'char*'

This is a debdiff against 2.9-1ubuntu1 including a patch that fixes the issue.
The package builds fine in a karmic pbuilder.

Hi,

looks pretty good, apart from one thing: the package is from debian, and there is no patch system in use. Please don't add one if there isn't one present already.

I'll pick up the relevant part and upload it without the added patch system. I hope that's ok for you.
