Bug Description
software-store trunk r181, Ubuntu Karmic
1. With no other tasks happening, click the "Install" button for an uninstalled application, or the "Remove" button for an installed one.
What happens:
* The "In Progress" item appears in the navigation pane.
What should happen:
* The "In Progress" item appears in the navigation pane.
* The Store automatically navigates to the "In Progress" section.
"5. If (and only if) there were no other tasks in progress when the installation was requested, the Store should switch to displaying the “In Progress” section." <https:/
"8. If (and only if) there were no other tasks in progress when the installation was requested, the Store should switch to displaying the “In Progress” section." <https:/
This is particularly important currently if you have Synaptic or some other package manager running, because the message inside the "In Progress" section is the only indication that the other program needs to close first.
