Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

"F2" is the standard rename button for files in a file manager, and it seems to be a standard for renaming anything else, including contacts in Pidgin. It should also be the rename button for contacts in Empathy.

I've added this to the paper cuts project because I understand that Empathy is under consideration as the default IM client for Karmic.

Although consistency is a valid goal and this bug would be a small fix, this is not a paper cut because this keyboard shortcut effects a relatively small group of users.

Why isn't this a papercut? There are many such consistency bugs that are triaged in the papercuts project.

I agree with Bilal Akhtar that this bug is indeed a completely paper cut, because it is a small fix to make an application easier to use, more consistent with the rest of the desktop and because this bug does affect many users; Empathy is the default IM application on Ubuntu.
