Bug Description

Changes to Debian upstream package:

ssed (3.62-6.3) unstable; urgency=low

  * Non-maintainer upload.
  * Fix bashisms in debian/rules (Closes: #379587).
  * Fix race-condition in debian/rules (Closes: #437914). Thanks go to Jachim
    Reichel for the patch.
  * Updated debian/watch to version 3 watchfile. The homepage of ssed wasn't
    available anymore, and the best reference I could find for it was
    http://sed.sourceforge.net/grabbag/ssed/ , which I used in the watch
    file (Closes: #450299)
  * Updated german PO file (Closes: #313874)
  * pcre/pcregrep.c: fixed spelling mistake (Closes: #416510)

Delta changes:
    - Maintain build with default compiler (This is bug 463296 in the Debian bug tracker)
    - Remove typo-patch and patch-system (since Debian fixed it)

Large deb to ubuntu diff is due to:

ssed (3.62-6.2build1) feisty; urgency=low

  * Rebuild for changes in the amd64 toolchain.

I have rebuild the debdiff without using the mergemaster (which seemed to confuse things due to a few undocumented or at least not obviously documented changes).

Changelog now reflects all modifications from the Debian package:

    - Build with default compiler
    - Remove gcc-4.1 from Build-Depends
    - Change maintainer to MOTU
    - Update config.sub to 2008-01-16.

I did the last change because it had been done in a previous Ubuntu delta with an older config.sub version, I'm not sure which one though as the changelogs were not obvious.

 - Unfortunately you're dropping quite some Ubuntu changelog entries - could you re-add them?
 - Any particular reason why you "Update config.sub to 2008-01-16"?
 - Can you change the Maintainer to Ubuntu Developers <email address hidden> instead? https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebianMaintainerField?action=diff&rev2=19&rev1=18

Include Ubuntu changelog entries. Don't manually update config.sub as it is not needed to build. Maintainer field follows new guidelines.
