python2.6 crashed with FetchFailedException in _runFetcher()

Bug Description

Binary package hint: python2.6

Not sure if replacing the graphics card from an ATI rage 16meg card to a ATI 9250 or replacing the CD rom to a DVD writer could have caused it?
Error came up when it booted.
