Bug Description

Binary package hint: bluefish

In Bluefish if you edit a <img src ...> tag (right click on the tag) the properties windows is opened and it always reports, as image width and height, the original size of the image and not the one imposted in the tag.

Tested with Bluefish 1.0.7-4 and Ubuntu Hardy

Can you provide a short example? For me it opens with the values given in the width and height HTML attributes.

<img src="img/Immagine10x10.png" width="5" height="5" border="0" alt="">

Immagine10x10.png is just 10x10 pixels.
If I right click on the tag, and select modify the tag, the properties window is opened with the width end height set to 10.

I cannot reproduce it. It opens with the value 5 for both width and height in the dialog.

When you start bluefish from the command line: Do you get a warning or a note from Gtk? Which architecture and which locale?

When I start bluefish from command line I see no errors. My system is in Italian language ($LANG = it_IT.UTF-8) and kernel is x86_64 bit.

This bug was fixed in the package bluefish - 2.0.3-1

---------------
bluefish (2.0.3-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release.
  * Second release candidate for version 2.0.3 (LP: #734685).
    - <img> modification window no longer always reports the original image
      width and height and instead of the imposted one (LP: #363009).
    - long page title do not longer cause window to resize over screen
      boarders (LP: #693367).
  * debian/rules (config.status): Support cross compilation.
