Python-poppler-dbg won't install

same goes with my installation with the following message:

E: python-poppler-dbg: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Why a security vulnerability? IMHO it's a normal bug.

got the same problem: I think it's a collision between two python packages (2.6 and poppler). I needed both of them according to a install-instruction regarding a Latex environment. Should i try to uninstall the python 2.6? I don't really fancy that solution because Latex works more or less.

This bug was fixed in the package python-poppler - 0.10.0-1ubuntu1

This bug has occurred ever since the installation of jaunty and for every package that was installed. It has not changed yet.

still happening in Karmic as of today 2009-12-28 First time I have needed -dbg so it could very well have been around for some time.

I'm reopening this report because it is not fixed neither in Karmic nor in Lucid as of today
