I clicked the Quick Access plasmoid and clicked on my homefolder so that it should open in dolphin. Then it chrashed.

Is this reproducible? (Apport failed to get a backtrace, so we'll need to get one manually.)

It is reproduceable if you click on the "quick access" plasmoid and select to open the folder in dolphin as soon as plasma appears, in other words before plasma is completely loaded. Then it all comes chrasing down
